FIGHTING FOR THE WORLD WE DESERVE

With Naomi Klein

An Enviroslug Special

The world we want doesn't just happen, we have to fight for it.

On April 30th 2026, Enviroslug hosted its first special event, Fighting for the World We Deserve with Naomi Klein.

This conversation with Naomi Klein dove deep into the urgent issues shaping our campuses and communities: rising authoritarianism in administration, threats to academic freedom, and the climate and environmental crises that affect us all. We came together, learned from the past, and inspired to act to protect our futures.

The Climate Movement is Dead

Climate action can't be separated from everyday struggles. People shouldn't have to choose between the end of the world and the end of the month. Naomi Klein explores how 'eco-populism' connects climate solutions with affordable housing, public transit, clean air, good jobs, and community well-being.
