Program Manager

Stephanie graduated from UC Santa Cruz in the Class of 2025 with a degree in Environmental Studies. She first joined ESLP as a student in 2023 and went on to serve as a course facilitator in 2024. Steph has a deep love for birds and outdoor recreation, and she’s passionate about creating a world that values the planet, its people, and all living things.

Avery Larsen is a Junior Marine Biology major with a deep love for the environment and the organisms that thrive in these diverse environments, especially marine flora! She is passionate about the outdoors, and enjoys hiking and camping as a way to connect with nature. Avery joined the ESLP during their freshman year, a decision that became one of their most rewarding experiences. They value the strong community ESLP fosters while working toward proactive and lasting environmental change.

Zoe is an Environmental Science major driven by her fascination of the interconnectedness of ecosystems. She joined ESLP to help contribute to positive environmental change on campus. Outside of school, she enjoys reading and hiking.

Jose is a second-year at UC Santa Cruz. He is double majoring in Environmental Sciences and legal studies. He inspires to lead today's corporate world on a more environmentally conscious path. He joined ESLP to help spread environmental awareness. A favorite hobby of his is to spend time outdoors.ething more.

Avery is a second-year Environmental Studies major with a deep passion for sustainability and environmental protection. From a young age, they were taught the importance of respecting the environment, which inspired them to pursue solutions to combat climate change. Through ESLP, Avery also sought to connect with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to protecting the planet. In their free time, they enjoy hiking, skiing, cooking, spending time with loved ones, playing soccer.

Brianna is a 2nd year Environmental Studies major who joined ESLP to get involved and loves reading.

Kev is a 3rd year transfer student majoring in Community Studies and minoring in jazz improvisation. Their passion for positive social change and healing the world and all its inhabitants brought them to Community Studies and to ESLP. In their spare time, you can find Kev recording music and podcasts about Star Trek and other pop culture.

Jasper is a third year Environmental Studies major and History of Art and Visual Culture minor. They are deeply passionate about the environment and protecting its wildlife. Jasper has joined ESLP recently and has found the program to be amazing for conversation around sustainability and helping UCSC to become more environmentally friendly. Beyond academics and ESLP, he loves baking, cooking, drawing, and spending time with their friends.
